Machine knobs ("buttons")
This full-size photo depicts the beauty and figure of our pearl and bone buttons.
#1 - For comparison, this is the pearlized plastic button that comes standard with our #301, #302, #303, and #304 mandolin machines.
#2 - Antiqued pearlized plastic button (part #301-2)
#3 - Grained ivoroid (plastic) button (part #301-1)
#4 - Green abalone (laminated for strength, abalone/abalone/abalone), (part #301-6)
#5 - Black buffalo horn (part #301-8)
#6 - Mother of pearl (part #301-3)
#7 - Red snail [the most similar appearance to original F5 machines] (part #301-4)
#8 - Marbled red snail, varigated colors ranging from whites, to pinks, to green (part #301-5)
#9 - White bone (part #301-7)
Notes:
1) Buttons #1, #2, and #3 are plastic - all others are real natural material.
2) These buttons are shown close to real size, but the actual size and color displayed on your computer's monitor may differ slightly according to the web browser you are using, the settings in your computer, or the age and viewing conditions of your computer's monitor.
3) While the buttons shown above are regular samples taken from our button sets, they are natural materials and may vary somewhat from piece to piece, set to set.
4) These buttons are machined to fit our mandolin sets that have shafts flatted on two sides. We cannot be responsible for any damage or breakage caused by trying to fit them to other sets.
