Finished F4 made from our components

Here's a beautiful F4 mandolin that luthier John Dickinson built using our parts:

Our F4 kit features a curly maple backboard and rib with a Honduras Mahogany neck. The back of the peghead boasts the optional dyed pearwood rear peghead cap. The fingerrest is John's own design as is the "JD" pearl inlay that adorns the peghead. John used our components and did a great job bulding, coloring, shading, and finishing this instrument.

NOTES:

• Since no two pieces of wood are the same, the grain of the wood in the kits will be similar to, but not exactly the same as the instrument pictured above. However, the woods will be the same species and same quality.

• Color and finish of a mandolin kit will vary according to the stain material, colors selected, staining and coloring process, number of coats, and grain-contrast-building techniques. (The finishing materials and techniques are described in The Ultimate Bluegrass Mandolin Construction Manual that comes with the kit.)
