Mandolin kits (detail photo, F5)

Notes: 

1) The Ultimate Bluegrass Mandolin Construction Manual (shown) includes a set of full-size drawings for the F5 mandolin.

2) Except for some minor shaping of soundboard and backboard scroll volutes (peaks) in the corners where the carver cannot reach, all parts are shaped and ready for sanding.

3) The block kit includes the maple headblock cap, un-attached (not shown).

4) An optional dovetail or "V" neck joint is available for the F5 kit (see #D in pricelist under "neck services.")
