Mandolin kits (detail photo, F4)

Notes:

1) The F4 kit includes our ProSeries F4 Drawing set DF4-F (rolled, not shown here) in addition to a copy of The Ultimate Bluegrass Mandolin Construction Manual (shown).

2) Except for some minor shaping of soundboard and backboard scroll volutes (peaks) in the corners where the carver cannot reach, all parts are shaped and ready for sanding.

3) The above kit shows the optional #D dovetail neck joint (neck and headblock dovetail). See #D in pricelist under "Neck services. An optional "V" neck joint is also available.

4) The F4 kits feature a Honduras Mahogany neck (above). (The light centerline on the neck is a maple filler strip that is used to embed the truss rod.)

5) For those who wish to stain the rim and backboard a dark red mahogany color, this kit shows a plain maple backboard (option). A plain maple rim option is also available.
