Hybrid kits (mandolin)

Thinking of building something different? To help you build your dream mandolin, we can provide custom parts designed and crafted to your particular specifications. This kit (below) was prepared for building a baritone mandolin, and featured a 22-1/4" string scale with custom neck and fretboard. The f-holes were also prepared 1/16" undersized to provide a good starting point for creating an air chamber with a C voicing without changing the body size.

Notes:

1) Hybrid kits are priced on a project-by-project basis. Please call us or provide a detailed outline of your requirements so that we can prepare an accurate price quotation.

2) Custom kits typically take about 4-6 weeks to prepare.

3) An optional dovetail or "V" neck joint is available for the F5 kit (see #D in pricelist under "neck services.")
